A Peter Pan performer surprised his very own Wendy when he got down on one knee near the end of a packed show in Glasgow.
Romantic Sandor Sturbl, 28, who stars in a new musical version of the classic story about a boy who never grows up, popped the question to Lilly-Jane Young, 22, in front of a stunned audience.
‘Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is usually the moment when Peter Pan gives Wendy a kiss. Lilly-Jane is the love of my life,’ he explained.
‘Jane, the last couple of years I’ve got to know you and you are the person I want to spend my life with. And therefore, I want to ask you, will you marry me?’
His overwhelmed girlfriend accepted the proposal, sparking wild celebrations from their co-stars and the audience.
The pair have been dating for just over a year having toured the world together while starring in Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story.
Dutchman Sturbl picked out a ring when it was announced they would be performing in Glasgow, his new fiancee’s home town.

Une vidéo fait actuellement le tour du monde. C’est celle de Peter Pan demandant Wendy en mariage. Mais c’était une vraie demande, l’interprète de Peter Pan dans la comédie musicale à succès a demandé la main de sa partenaire, sur scène comme à la ville, lors du spectacle de Glasgow le week-end dernier.
La vidéo vue plus d’un million de fois
Sandor Sturbl a surpris le public écossais en interrompant le show et en faisant sa demande devant tout le monde. Depuis que la vidéo a été mise en ligne par le site d’information écossais, le Scottish Daily Record, il y a trois jours, elle a déjà été vue plus d’un million de fois. Attirant même les plus grosses chaînes de télévision américaine, qui veulent l’acheter.
